How to Root and install CWM on the Samsung Galaxy S3 without Tripping Flash Counter (AT&T ver)
In this post, i will show how to root your Galaxy S3 i747. Rooting has many benefits which include installing/flashing 3rd party ROMS, can enable wi-fi tethering and also install 3rd party apk's and many others. But not all rooting methods are safe. Some of them might trip the flash counter on the device which might not be good when you want to claim warranty for the device. This method lets you root without tripping the flash counter.
You would be needing two things for rooting
Odin Download link
Root injected firmware Download link
You can follow the video below for the full detailed demo
Now if you wish not to flash any ROMs then you can stop here but if you want to flash ROMs then you need to install Clockworkmod Recovery.
The first method is by using ROM Manager.
Step 1: Install ROM Manger from Play store
Step 2: Open ROM Manager and select the appropriate device (i747)
Step 3: Now select install CWM option and you are done
The second method is using ADB shell. For this you need to make sure that you have android SDK installed. For full instructions follow the video below

Best case for Samsung Galaxy S3
I have been using the Samsung Galaxy S3 since three week now and i know that this is a pretty big phone by itself but i still wanted somekind of protection which incase would protect my phone if i drop it (which rarely happens but why take a chance). So i dug amazon.com and found bunch of different cases for the phone and then i saw Diztronic TPU matte black case. I was skeptical about it since i haven't even heard about that brand even when i was looking cases for my iPhone previously. And after using it since day 2 after i got the phone, i am really happy about how good the case is. It also comes with a screen protector and it is designed in such a way that it doesn't give bubble around the edges when the case is put on the phone. Overall i am pretty happy with the case and would definitely recommend this to anyone who are looking for a case for their Galaxy S3. I also have a small YouTube video review of the case which you can view from the below link...

Using Google Play Music app on my new Samsung Galaxy S3
Google Play Music - The Google's new music app/tool against the iPod app on iPhone looks pretty good to me. But i wasn't much overwhelmed by it until i used it on my Galaxy S3. I was an iPhone user and i love the iPod or the new Music app on iPhone. It is runs smooth and there is no lag whatsoever either in scrolling the album list regardless of how many albums you have on there.
Now coming to my new phone, it is my first ever android device which i really like so far. And in it I still prefer the stock music player which comes with the stock Touchwiz OS. The music player app launches fast and it feels pretty fast to use as well. On the other side the Google play music has lots of features one of the most useful and my favorite is the ability to store 20,000 songs on the cloud, come on now..can you beat that. It just completely blows away iTunes match which on the other side is a paid service from Apple. But the app itself when i have used it stuttered, not in the sense it gave any problem in playing songs but it just feels slow. When you select the song on your local disk to be played it just the lag on which it displays the album art and starts playing the song which is what is making me not use the app. This is just a problem which a normal and an everyday user like me has to complain for the Google's music app which otherwise is brilliant.
Update: I was using the Play Music app all day yesterday and found a couple of bugs. The first one was the missing song information when you return to Music app from a different app while the song is playing
The same bug appears when you rotate the device to landscape and return back to portrait. And the funny thing is the the music app doesn't show any song information while in landscape and below is screenshot of that as well
Other thing(not a bug), i found useless was hiding the song timer and few other options which are available only if you tap on the song which i found pointless because they need to be on the screen at all times.
Hope Google does work on these bugs and then i am sure this would be the default app which many of us will use it on their phones! Below is the video i made to show the comparison.
